Multicolored Strike Lizard (48888)
 Wow! What a beauty. This guy (maybe a gal) is almost 10" long, 6" high and 6 3/4" wide. He looks poised to make a strike as his name implies. I'm not sure lizards strike, but he certainly looks ready.
These hand crafted creatures come from Dehua, China, one of the fine ceramic areas of Asia for over 3000 years. Combining traditional workmanship with modern firing techniques, these are collectable treasures. A process of eight working procedures, all fired at different temperatures, is how the magnificent hand painted finished is achieved.
